Visiting Dean-bo the Brave and Emily

After delivering a Brown Bag lunch, philip bundled himself off (via Jantzi-mobile) to Clinton, New York. Dean-bo the Lion and Emily were up to mischief and Philip had a landslide of fun joining in.

Gap Relief Sale

After Winnipeg the wide open countryside of Pennsylvania beckoned Phil again. So he headed on down south of the border again. His plane was held up in Toronto due to a thunder storm which was altogether regrettable. However nothing can hold a good Phil back from indulging in an MCC relief sale. Here are a few images from the highly regarded and particularly tasty Gap Relief Auction. Not held in Gap. But it is an auction. Sweet times with the friendly folks. I spent up big on quilts. Thankfully not my money. Unfortunately, also not my quilts to keep. But the thrill was huge anyways.

Philip in Winnipeg

To get over the loss of his wife for another month, Philip went straight to Winnipeg to drown his sorrows in Wiens hospitality, raspberries and some early prairie goodness. He also frequently popped into the very friendly Winnipeg MCC office and hobnobbed with the knowledgeable and famous.

Dean and Emily at Niagara Falls

Just before Iris headed back to Indonesia. We met up with Dean-bo the Scrim and his fiance, Emily at the mighty Niagara Falls.
